For decades I have worked within community groups to assist them build resilience and thrive.

I learnt about the importance of contributing to your community at an early age from my parents and grand parents who were active community builders. Growing up in a rural environment we had to be self-reliant. If there was a need in our community then it was the members of that community who acted. I have taken these lessons into my adult life.

For decades I have worked within community groups to assist them build resilience and thrive. I have been a sports coach/manager, director, fundraiser, chairperson, mentor and helping hand. These groups support young people, education, welfare and sport.

My deepest passion and expertise is in assisting students complete their secondary schooling, continue their education with further studies and ultimately a transition successfully into the workplace where they are then able to give back to their own community.

I have seen the positive multi-generational impact that post-secondary schooling has on individuals, families and communities. Strong communities are essential for our well being and are a foundation for many of the benefits we all enjoy today.
